Since its founding in 2004, the Middletown Education Collaborative is, and has been, comprised solely of volunteers from the Middletown community. Community service and volunteerism are close to our hearts, and we are committed to encouraging and recognizing community service. For this reason, among others, MEC awards a $1,000 one-time scholarship to a graduating senior from Middletown High School. The student who receives this scholarship will be active in community service and will be continuing their education at an institute of higher education.
